Motion offense is an offense where the basketball reacts to the movement of the players.  Motion offense does not have a predetermined order of movement by the ball or players.  The foundation of the offense is players executing sound fundamentals, reading the defense, and making good decisions through recognition.  All five players are constantly moving to different floor positions to take advantage of opportunities presented by the defense.
